Sub Society w/ VNDMG, PRSN, BOGL + More
Sub Society is back for November 17th at Harlot SF with three of our top guns on deck! If you're into some of the finest in bass music rhythms then your going to enjoy this months edition featuring:
A constant proponent of all things weird and sci-fi, VNDMG lives to produce technically experimental bass music. By infusing hip-hop fundamentals and MCs in to electronic music, he pushes the listener to experience new and unique sounds while luring them in with familiar crowd pleasers. A high energy DJ, VNDMG prides himself on providing a unique set full of original productions, remixes, and hidden gems
Currently based out of Portland Oregon, PRSN has been a front runner in the west coast bass music scene for over a decade. Co-hosting 'Wake The Town' he has helped to bring some of the most innovative talent in the industry to the North West arena. His diverse style of ragga influenced bass music can take the audience on many journies. From the sexy mellow vibes that he features in his widely circulated mix series "Bedtime Stories" to some seriously next level half time, drum and bass, and hints of UK bass flavors all laced seamlessly together in his live sets. PRSN is a true conisuer of many genres and a master behind the decks.
Griffin March aka BOGL, is a self-taught DJ and music enthusiast originally from Las Vegas, NV. With his parties, Soundpieces, Bogl has been able to host and play alongside current left-field artists from around the world in San Francisco and beyond for years. His charisma is like that of a friendly ghost; he is kept close to your heart as one would a godfather, while basically existing as an untouchable phenomenon. He’s become known for appearing out of what seems like thin air to play an eclectic selection of bass heavy productions, take you to an unfathomable dimension, then suddenly vanishing to another far off place. It make us wonder how it’s even possible for Bogl to exist.
Visionary and co-host of Sub Society, Triangle Man's audio allegences lie in a variety of diverse flavors that range from UK style tech house to classic 2-Step and Broken Beat as well as Bass House. Originally from the North West territory of Eugene OR he became one of the lead figures in the underground community. Attending events as far back as 1994, Triangle Man has a true appreciation for how far this culture and scene have come and has been an active member in curating events with the Gaia Tribe, Soul Sessions and Shwar Town crews. Triangle Man continues to push the boundaries of whats possible for events and will often merge both house heads and bass music enthusiasts into the same shows with his electic line ups and showcases.
Co-founder of Sub Society and Morning Gloryville, Danis is always helping to elevate his community and keep good music at the core of the scene. His styles have been shifting over the years from Trap and Hip-Hop inlfuenced electronic genres to now more of a clasic house and bass house realm. While the shift has been gradual he still keeps both on stock for the right occasion and is known to weave them together taking the audience down many different path ways of booty shaking bliss.
