As we all know The Caribbean islands including St. Maarten, Haiti, St. Barts, and The Dominican Republic, were recently devastated by Hurricane Irma. Irma has wrought devastation on the island nations, killing people, ripping off rooftops, destroying homes and businesses, shutting down electrical grids and sending rivers of debris flowing through streets. Here in San Francisco, we’re all very blessed to live in such a beautiful city and to call this welcoming community our home.
With that in mind, we’d like to pay it forward in any way we can. So, Dec 22nd The Great Northern and Common Ground will be coming together to throw one hell of a party with all proceeds to benefit the wonderful people of the Caribbean Islands. So come party with a purpose with us and give back to communities less fortunate than our own.

Charles Feelgood ~
His rise to dance music infamy dates back to his humble beginnings as a leading force behind the Baltimore/Washington DC dance music scene. Alongside his partner and fellow DJ Scott Henry, Feelgood launched "Fever", which for nearly a decade become one of the most sought after events for touring DJs from around the world. It was the days after starting Fever that Feelgood enhanced his reputation amongst those in the international dance community. He parlayed his danceable brand of House music up and down the East Coast and became renown for his creative ability to incorporate his love of 80’s music with a variety of different House styles into his sets. In the years that have followed, he has taken his talents to all ends of the earth – from North and South America to Russia and Asia, and everywhere in between. He appeared at such seminal events as Coachella, and Lollapalooza, and has become a welcome fixture with many of the largest production companies in the US and abroad.
His initial popularity was assisted thanks in part to his legendary mixed series, "Time to Get Ill" and has continued to flourish through the release of remixes and singles such as “Jacker's Anthem,” “My Life” and “Watchu Gonna Do”. He is a mainstay in the charts on BeatPort and Traxsource as well as other worldwide digital sites. In the past few years Feelgood has had several releases on Major and Independent labels such as, Instereo, Guesthouse, Fogbank and Ammo Recordings - with a breakout track called "Bebop" that stayed in the Beatport and Traxsource charts for most of the 2014 year! Feelgood remains committed to lighting up dance floors around the world – summing up his musical mission in one sentence: "I just want to do what the name implies, to make people have a good time and go home with a great feeling”.
Fueled by an enigmatic mystique, DJ Jenö has remained one of San Francisco's most beloved and sought after DJs for over two decades. Developing a passionate love for music from an early age he spent several years as a punk musician & songwriter, before discovering djing and falling into the vibrant London warehouse party scene of the mid 80s. Once Acid House fever hit the UK, Jenö never looked back, becoming known for his heady Whoosh parties, and his involvement in the early days of the notorious Tonka Sound System.
In 1995, he and the Wicked Crew took things to the next level, importing a custom made Tony Andrews designed Turbosound system from the UK. With Wicked very much in demand there was nothing else to do but hit the road, piling into a beautifully restored 1947 Grayhound bus with their own band of merry pranksters, delivering their soulful psychedelic sounds with a rock'n'roll attitude that took the U.S by storm. The touring continued through the late 90s, including some unforgettable stops at Burning Man, Reggae on the River, and even a Jane's Addiction concert in 2001.
Jenö’s mythical mixing talents have translated far and wide with a diverse international cult following. He has demonstrated these talents on the decks in the premier clubs across the globe, including the legendary Twilo in NYC, The End, Fabric & Ministry of Sound in London, Unit in Tokyo and the Rex Club in Paris. Jenö continues to perform & present music with a unique and psychedelic perspective, djing regularly again across the US, as well as hosting his own musically mischievous cult radio show - Noise from the Void, on http://mixlr.com/jenovoid/
K1 Britannia Foundation ~
K1 Britannia Foundation's namesake is inspired by the Britannia - the famous historical classic sailing yacht whose exact replica is being built by the K1 Britannia Trust with the main purpose of being used as a flagship for charity, aiming to combine the prestige and dignity of classic yachts and the passion for sailing with the nobility of helping others.
The Britannia, as well as all other boats of the K1 Britannia Trust will be used primarily to benefit charity and charitable causes, something unique in today's world of classic sailing yachts.
Working alongside the K1 Britannia Trust, the K1 Britannia Foundation focuses extensively on a variety of maritime and other charitable projects in St Maarten, with a major focus on the social issues faced by troubled youth on the island and the surrounding areas.
