Mira is by no means a newcomer.
For 10 years Mira influenced the east-german techno scene before establishing her musical home in Berlin's legendary Bar25, Kater Holzig and now Katerblau. From her time in Berlin she has shaped her own unique sound reminiscent of endless nights full of wonder and intensity.
Bar25 was the place for Mira to first cross paths with Chris Schwarzwalder, NU and Jo Ke, resulting in lifelong friendships, creative musical exchanges, collaborations and output.
Anyone who has experienced her endless sets already understands why Berlin so holds in such high regard the particular sound created by her. A soulful, mesmerizing sound that sinks under your skin and leaves you with a feeling of deep warm-heartedness.
All of her styles and sounds can not only be discovered live behind the decks, but are available on vinyl and digital releases from the Katermukke and URSL labels as well
The year is 2016. Britta Arnold, space-girl, love child and musical jetsetter meets Unders, world traveller, mad scientist and former Tin-Tin impersonator.
It was here that two mirrors met, two ambitions joined and two styles merged to create what is now known as Britta Unders.
Whether playing music to weekend ravers, swinging in the studio shaping emotions into sound, or casually planning their creative futures involving bus trips, mobile studios, remixes, releases and beyond, these kindred spirits are inhaling and exhaling each moment like the full moon does the tides. It’s natural.
After their auspicious meeting at Britta’s Grrr Mit Brrr party in the magical country of Kater Blau on the banks of the river Spree, much was to happen for our spirited duo.
In a matter of months, the chemistry between them had already created an EP for Katermukke, a remix for Jonas Saalbach on Einmusika and remixes for Nico Stojan & JAW, Be Svendsen and Arman Miran.
For Britta, who co-founded and managed the Bar 25 label, and Unders, with twenty years of experience in the electronic industry as both DJ, producer and promoter, this combined love of music, life and international globe-trotting created an unstoppable flow.
Soon they were playing at some of the most reputable gatherings around the flat earth: Bachstelzen stage at Fusion Festival, Shoeless parties in Old Mokum, Woomoon in Ibiza — then Burning Man and New York through to South America, Africa and their home stomping grounds of Europe.
Together, their productions and DJ sets are spacious, tripping, techy and transportive. But somewhere, there is also a bearded shaman in neon playing the Glockenspiel while channeling the spiritual music of the world. Simply put, this is the sound of an extremely bright future.
DJ & producer David Krasemann, better known as Dave DK has been making waves in the electronic music scene for a couple of years now. Since the early 90's he was fascinated by the upcoming techno movement, which eventually led to his own active initiation. 1995 was the starting point for the then 17 year old. Together with a longtime friend, Dave produced his first tracks and was involved in the organization of underground techno and house partys, constantly trying to spread and push new electronic music.
Searching for new electronic sounds every day and having honed his skills as a producer in his chosen home Berlin, Dave released his first record on Müller Records in 1998. His DJ activities had been highly pushed since that time. In 1999 he became a resident DJ at Tresor/Globus club in Berlin, later on also at the legendary Panorama Bar. Beside his remix productions for Beroshima and Skiebäck he released records on raum...musik., Decore, Lifetime Music and Cadeaux.
As Dave is an open minded person who resents musical limits, he doesn’t want to be reduced to one style. His sound simply is the result of different styles that have influenced him throughout the years. "I have a passion for the wide range between house and techno as well as pop music and dancefloor stuff of the early 90's", says Dave.
Though he’s elegantly juggling a variety of electronic music to create his own style, in his tracks he often combines tragic melodies with kickin’ grooves that transform your body into a twisting stampede of electricity, with trademark swing and warm funk.
With a focus on deep, melodic and ethereal dance music, Hisham Zahran has steadily gained recognition within the dance music community thanks to his wildly popular online mixes. His monthly radio show, The Next Level on Proton Radio, has been a source for fresh and forward-thinking tunes for over a decade. Not to mention he also holds a residency at Nacelle House Sessions, the wickedly popular underground party in Cairo, Egypt and Bespoke music in New York .
With a career still blossoming, Hisham is finding new ways to innovate with deep house, making him an in-demand DJ on the global club circuit, while touring the world making stops in Brazil, Mexico, Spain, The Czech Republic and Germany among others. Hisham is also focusing his talents on A&R for Anjunadeep, bringing forth an exciting new direction for the label.
