Good Room is celebrating 5 years at the forefront of the Brooklyn electronic music scene with some of our favorite Resident DJs on October 25. The Firehouse x Correspondant party will feature label heads Jennifer Cardini and Kim Ann Foxman alongside Fixed's JDH & Dave P. Plus resident Bad Room boys Justin Strauss & Billy Caldwell will be throwing down at Love Tempo.
Fifteen years ago Parisian DJ Jennifer Cardini set off on a mission to take her vision of house music to audiences around Europe and beyond. She is known for her DJ sets fusing techno, electro and disco, having played at some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and hottest festivals. Her dancefloor philosophy is reflected not only by her sets and the music released on her labels, including electro imprint Correspondant and the more indie oriented Dischi Autunno but also by her engagement in support of the LGBT-community.
Hawaii born artist and DJ, Kim Ann Foxman shot to fame as a vocalist and has since continued her rise to become one of New York’s finest DJs and a prolific producer in her own right. Unfazed by trends and deeply rooted in the music, Foxman builds on the nostalgic records of her youth to create her own dynamic sound. As a producer, Kim Ann Foxman delivers catchy hooks and haunting melodies, and is also celebrated for beguiling and original vocals. Her Firehouse Recordings imprint (inspired by the old firehouse in Brooklyn that is her studio and a creative hub for the like-minded) is responsible for a steady stream of mind-bending releases.
