Dutch DJ / producer Don Diablo was born and raised in Holland and more recently moved to London where he is currently working on his debut artist album. The first single of the album, featuring Alex Clare and Kelis, is a standout example of his diversity as a producer. Past collaborations with artists like Diplo, Example, Dragonette and Noisia all led up to a trademark sound with a recognizable signature. This year Don has also been dropping dancefloor bombs on Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings and his forthcoming release Starlight (Could you be mine) just got signed to Axwell's Axtone label. The latter was debuted during the last SHM concerts and is now getting support from heavy hitters like Tiesto and Avicii. Co-directing most of his own music videos as well as working on several cinematic soundtracks has also kept Don's fascination for combining visuals with music alive. Together with L.A. based visual company VSquared Labs, the creative brains behind the visual shows of Amon Tobin and Skrillex, he has now created a brand new visual concept called The Hexagon which will see its worldwide premiere during this year's edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event.Don's firm support from Pete Tong, who recently opened his legendary BBC Radio1 show with two of Don's new tracks in one month, as well as his recent residency at Las Vegas' hottest new superclub Light is more proof of a bright future ahead.
