Damon "Dam-Funk" Riddick is the epitome of funk. Ever since debuting in 2008, Dam-Funk has become one of the genres most passionate proselytizers, out to save it from devilish depictions of cartoonish caricature. To Dam, funk is a way of living, "a feeling of struggle and staying cool through it all." Dam's partnership with Stones Throw has seen the release of his debut 'Toeachizown' (2009) and 'Invite the Light' (2015), as well as an anthology of early productions, 'Adolescent Funk' (2010), to 'Higher' (2013) with Steve Arrington and '7 Days of Funk' (2013) with Snoop Dogg. A Good Room favorite, he returns to the club on 05.25.
Locals John Barera and Kellam Matthews are taking over the Bad Room for the evening. John founded a techno/acid focused party and label with Volvox called Jack Dept. John is also the head of Supply Records alongside Soren Jahan - a vinyl only imprint featuring an eclectic range of house and techno. Together they produce under the name B-Tracks. Kellam Matthews is a Good Room resident and founder of the Frendzone parties.
